Laura Linney
Laura Leggett Linney is an American actress born February 5, 1964. She has received numerous awards such as the four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Linney first made her Broadway debut in 1990 before getting Tony Award nominations for the 2002 revival of The Crucible, the original Broadway productions of Sight Unseen (2004), Time Stands Still (2010) The Musical, My Name Is Lucy Barton (2020) and the new production of The Little Foxes. In 2001, Linney won one of the very first Emmy Award she ever received for her TV film Wild Iris. Other wins follow for the showbiz sitcom Frasier from 2003-2004 and for miniseries John Adams in 2008. In 2010, she starred until 2013 on the show The Big C. This show won her an Emmy Award in 2013. Between 2017 and 2022, she appeared as a part of the Netflix crime-drama Ozark.
