The band was on Boston's club circuit and was led by Frank Connelly their first manager. They then began to work with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. In 1972 they signed a record contract and released their debut album. The album was then followed by Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic and Rocks. Tyler appeared more committed to Aerosmith, and was displeased with Perry for his indifferent attitude. He also envied Perry's priority of females throughout his life. Aerosmith's gradual decline was probably due to the conflict between Tyler and Perry as well as their once-friendly friendships.
