Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables graduated with distinction from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, MO. She has a Bachelor of Arts diploma in Theatre and Communication. Following her move to Los Angeles, she became active in the theater arts and started acting in and choreographing for over 2 dozen plays and musicals such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title parts in Los Angeles' Award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to land television and film roles as she was studying improvisation through The Groundlings. She also joined Theatre West. Her distinct voice and diminutive height has let her perform a range of bright characters. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara, but she is more well-known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a series regular on TV Land's sitcom The Exes between 2011 and 2015. She played Kelly as a paralegal during the night and as a party-hopper during the evening. Alyssa Mio's sassy sexpert, her little sister, was Kelly's frequent part on ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as the stressed-out suburban mother. She is known for her soaring soprano voice in a variety of animated shows. These include Doctor McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was playing the dim, charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC popular comedy Superstore. The couple has two young kids and has a peaceful home. She loves to write, sew and volunteer in the school.
